The best kind of cooking starts with what you already have. A few tins, a jar of something punchy, noodles or grains waiting in the cupboard— ingredients that come together into satisfying vegetarian fare. Creamy white bean and pickle stew, tangle-your-fork-in sesame and chilli oil noodles, sweet tomato and black bean tortilla bowls - just some of my favourites.
