Autumn Ingredients
There is a generosity to autumn that isn’t equalled by any other season. My oven is in constant use: I start roasting again, big trays of jewel-coloured roots, the last of the corn, and tomatoes.

Winter Ingredients
Deep winter is my favourite time to be in the kitchen. My heavy, cast-iron pots seldom leave the hob, always full of soup or a vegetable braise.
